Most people agree that global warming, which in turn leads to climate change, is something we would like to avoid. Global warming is a result of excessive carbon dioxide emissions, which in turn is a byproduct of our unhealthy consumption. However, the approach to how we should counteract climate change is not as obvious, which creates a certain paralysis of action.
Some believe that our focus should be on the big climate criminals. These actors are mainly companies with large factories that are powered by unsustainable energy. There are of course major improvements on this front, but it will definitely not solve the whole problem. Others believe that private individuals have an important role to play, as they should consume sustainably if given the opportunity.
In my opinion, the truth lies somewhere in between. I believe that consumer demand must be the starting point for a sustainable transition, which companies must then adapt to. Since most of the people reading this post are private individuals, I plan to primarily write about how everyone can contribute to saving nature.
En multiarena har något för alla
Many schoolyards and other public outdoor environments are usually adorned with various types of training equipment. When you travel around Sweden and visit different schools, it is not all that unusual to see that in one corner there is a basketball court, in the middle of the schoolyard an artificial turf field for football and in the other corner a field for bandy.
This arrangement is not optimal from a sustainability perspective. If you want several different types of training equipment, you should instead consider a multi-arena . The charm of this training equipment is that it brings together all sports in one place. Consequently, it takes up less space but also less material, as bandy and football can be played on the same surface.
Multi-arena are not only good because they take up little material, they also require minimal maintenance compared to other playing fields for ball sports. Minimal maintenance is good for both saving time and directly financially. Since they last a long time, they are a good long-term investment that is well suited if you are going to replace old training equipment. Since a multi-arena has something for everyone, it is a neutral training equipment that is appreciated in many places.
